On November 8,1994 Lauren Alaina Suddeth was born in Rossville,Geogia! Before going on the tenth season of American Idol she attended high school where she was a cheerleader. When she was 12 and all the way up until she tried out for American Idol she would go to Nashville and ask the bands that were playing if she could sing and they'd let her, Lauren tellls Yahoo Music. She would sing on lower broadway at Legends and the legendary Tootsies Orchard Lounge. Lauren is also a christian.
When Lauren auditioned for the popular television show she sang Faith Hill's "Like We Never Loved At All" and Aerosmith's "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing". She was the runner-up of American Idol. Her debut single is "Like Mother Does"! At the finale she sang with former American Idol winner Carrie Underwood on Carrie's hit "Before He Cheats".
After the finale of American Idol she appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno where she told Jay that she had actually auditioned for NBC's America's Got Talent but didn't even make it to the judges.
This summer she was on tour with the American Idol Live Tour. She is said to be going on tour after the first of the year!
Her debut album Wildflower was released October 11th on Mercury Nashville. She is currrenly out on tour opening up for Jason Aldean along with Luke Bryan
